The Early Years has been helping families for over 35 years. Its mandate has always been helping parents to feel confident in their parenting armed with developmental knowledge and tools and strategies that guide their children. Parenting can be hard during the teen years and often isolating as parents seek out ways to stay connected and offer support, trust and love all the while struggling to keep up with world influences.
There is a need to help parents sift through all the changes in teen brains, many are seeking help in how to hold onto their teens during these new and often confusing years. As we have seen great success in our well known and valued Child Behavior Program, it was only a natural progression to create the Teen Behavior Program. This brings the full cycle of parenting together.
Graduates will have the opportunity to create and expand their own services whether in private business opportunities or bringing value to their current position and employer. The outcome will be receiving a new skill set, advancing in a specialized skill. TBCP (Teen Behavior Certification) and CBCP (Child Behavior Certification) enjoys a thriving community of professionals whose desire it is to see all families thrive.
Self-employment/entrepreneurship is an exciting and creative livelihood. You are not limited in the kinds of programs and services you can offer. Within the field of family and adolescent education you can reach out to families within your community, and across the globe. Through the benefits of social media and technology, your practice can really grow; you are as limited or not as you desire to be. Your TBC (Teen Behavior Certification) program will include pertinent information you may want to have for your business set up, marketing ideas and recommendations in creating your website.
Since the Early Years Inc enjoys a world-renowned reputation as an authority and specialist in all thing’s “behavior”, your business name will be featured on our website as well as referrals where deemed the “right fit”.

We believe that young people/teens are a privilege and a gift that the whole family and community can appreciate.
We believe that it is critical to motivate and inspire children and teens while setting rules and guidelines; helping them to acquire habits, goals and knowledge that lead to well- functioning adults.
First and foremost is a desire to make a difference in the lives of teens and their families. As space will be limited, an educational background or a related field will be considered. Previous volunteer experience working with children, families or parents is an asset.
As we grow together, we will be creating a library of knowledge that you can access at any time. Included in the library will be most recent and up to date studies in adolescent and teen behavior. Access to blogs and professional anecdotes will increase knowledge and skills as a behavior specialist. As an ongoing member of TBCP we will work together towards continuing education through professional development workshops and conferences. Students will have access to an ongoing discussion board where thoughts and questions can be submitted.
Most importantly, you will be helping a whole new generation and generations to come to parent with firmness, kindness and fairness. You will have the privilege in seeing parents and caregivers become encouraged and energized. There will always be an answer, a solution and a word of encouragement that you will be able to provide. This is at the core and the heart of specializing in all things behavior.
