Marie-Claude lives with her partner and three children on the South Shore of Montreal. Her journey began with a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable populations. She earned a Bachelor’s degree of Social Work from McGill University, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the social, psychological, and systemic factors influencing individuals and communities. As she delved deeper into her studies and through diverse work experiences in the public and private sector, she realized her passion for working with children and families, leading her to pursue a certification in child behaviour.

Founder of Families in Bloom, Marie-Claude knows firsthand how rewarding and challenging parenting can be. Understanding the critical role families play in a child‘s development and well-being, Families in Bloom’s mission is to provide comprehensive support to families of all backgrounds, promoting positive family dynamics, and fostering healthy child development. At the core of Marie-Claude’s work is her passion for children’s rights and her belief in the potential of every family to grow—and bloom! With empathy and understanding, she fosters a nurturing environment where families feel supported, valued, and encouraged to embrace positive change. Her child-centered approach emphasizes collaboration, inclusivity, and the acknowledgment that each family’s journey is unique.
