Julie lives in the beautiful mountain town of Squamish, BC, Canada with her husband and two daughters Sola and Yale. Julie is a certified Child Behaviour Specialist having trained with The Early Years and a Family Sleep Consultant with the Family Sleep Institute. This is complimented by her background of a Masters degree in Social Work, a Bachelor of Education and extensive experience as a mental health therapist with children and families. She is confident addressing a complex set of issues and is comfortable working with individuals from all backgrounds.

As founder of Mountain Dreams Parent Coaching, Julie knows first hand how the parenting experience can be one that’s full of challenges, where guilt and shame around whether we’re doing it right can cut us off from connection with others. Every aim of Mountain Dreams is to help parents find confidence, independence, and to navigate those challenges with a little more openness, a little less comparison, and a whole lot more trust in themselves.
With education and empowerment as the golden thread that knits Mountain Dreams together, Julie’s experience as a social worker, clinical counsellor, sleep consultant, child behaviour specialist, sexual health educator and school teacher allows her to offer a unique approach to supporting families. Julie is dedicated to working with your family to share tools and skills needed to establish healthy sleep habits, positive parenting practices and restore peace and balance in your home.
