Next Child Behavior Certification Session:
You can make a difference in the lives of families providing positive parenting tools that address all childhood behaviors.
Child Behavior Certification Program
Welcome to The Early Years Family Development Centre Inc. and the “Child Behavior Certification Program”, known as CBCP.
Since 1996 we have been providing pre-school programs and staff training, child development workshops, personal family coaching and parent education. Founder Sharyn Timerman is at the helm providing tools that will encourage parents to build foundations that respect the unity of the family, and to teach and mentor children to make healthy choices that will last a lifetime.
Becoming part of the CBCP training means we have the same goals: Working Together For Our Children
Our Mission
To support the notion that all children can be taught to do good in the world simply for the sake of doing good.
To celebrate individuality and to be instrumental in helping parents raise independent thinkers.
To guide parents so that they are empowered and encouraged every step of their parenting journey.
To teach guidance and parenting skills in a positive manner with respect to individual family needs.
To give life to learning for all children while keeping their dignity intact.
What We Believe – Our Philosophy
We believe that children are a privilege and a gift that the whole family and community can appreciate.
We believe that it is critical to motivate and inspire children while setting rules and guidelines; helping them to acquire habits, goals and knowledge that lead to well-functioning adults.

What is the Next Step?
Certification Requirements:
We will take you through every step of the way. We want you to succeed, your success is super important to us.
What are the CBCP member benefits?
As we grow together, we will be creating a library of knowledge that you can access at any time. Included in the library will be most recent and up to date studies in ECE and child behavior. Access to blogs and professional anecdotes will increase knowledge and skills as a behavior specialist. As an ongoing member of CBCP we will work together towards continuing education through professional development workshops and conferences. Students will have access to an ongoing discussion board where thoughts and questions can be submitted.
Most importantly, you will be helping a whole new generation and generations to come to parent with firmness, kindness and fairness. You will have the privilege in seeing parents and caregivers become encouraged and energized. There will always be an answer, a solution and a word of encouragement that you will be able to provide. This is at the core and the heart of specializing in child behavior.
